Welcome!!

For years Region X members have asked us to have a conference in The City and for years it just wasn’t possible due the high costs.  Well this year we are back in the city for a second year in a row at the same beautiful New York Marriott in Brooklyn, NY from Sunday November 9 through Tuesday November 11 2008. Just ask anyone who came last year, the site is wonderful and the room rates are pretty good too compared to what you’d typically pay for the same quality in NYC.  So if you came last year come again, and if you didn’t come last year come this year and find out what you missed. What we can say for sure is that we won’t likely be back in The City for many years to come. 

Come enjoy Brooklyn and the other boroughs, enjoy the company of your colleagues, make new friends, attend sessions and learn something new, share what you can share, dance the night away at our Monday night gala, take in a show, visit a museum, learn all about the new SEVIS, have a cocktail, and maybe even vent a little to an audience that will “get it”.  Then go back to your campuses and institutions rejuvenated and more capable of carrying on the good work you do.
